I am 21 and I have had people call me mister...:(

I used to counsel some kids, and one time one of their friends came up and asked if I was one of the kid's dad. I still get flack about that from all my friends. ;)

I am 26, I counseled kids in Middle School and some High School. Hilarious. I would be 12-14 when I had a kid for that to happen.

Sure is. My mom ALWAYS reminds me that it's the day after "The King's" birthday too! She really wanted me to be born that day, and I would have too, but my dad told her he was going to finish watching the John Wayne movie he started before getting up to drive her her at 11pm as she'd probably "be in labor for a few hours anyway" :p. I thanked my Dad for that one. as cool as it'd be I'd still rather not share a birthday with the man.

I get the same thing you do on the age thing. That's why I usually keep a 5 oclock shadow. I grew tired of being told I was just a "baby" @ 22. The early twenties girls don't really go for the guys in their early twenties.

Happy early birthday to you sir. Guess you're as opinionated, pig headed and as stubborn as I am, being a Capricorn and all. I'd have to say that's a fair assesment from reading some of your posts ;)

Happy birthday to you too. Also we share the same birthday as Dave Matthews, Jimmy Page, and Richard Nixon.

Maybe that's why that one girl called me "Tricky Dick"! ;)

Wait until you hit the age where you have to ask potential dates who their Dad is, so you can make sure it's not one of your buddies:eek: Or worse yet, you have to ask your son for permision to date one of his exes.

Ha ha, did you really do that???

I turned 23 2 weeks ago. I doubt I'll ever feel old. I'm far too young and energetic :D

The only thing that feels 'odd' is that I have had kids at the summer camp call me Mr an Sir :p haha. I certainly don't feel like a Sir. I'm just their supervisor and buddy.

I have noticed a lot of guys that feel old at mid 20's though. Not me. I guess my training keeps me feeling young.

Thank you sir.

And M4H, that package better get here before bingo night!

It's funny, because the girl I've been dating on again off again (she's 29) really wants to go to the local senior center and whip up on some old people in bingo. I promised I'd take her one day and we'd kick some geriatric ass!

No, been happily married for 26yrs but I have several buddies my age that have encountered these situations, one of them is currently living with one of his sons exes:shocked:

On a related note, I went to the wedding of a man 59 to a girl 19 about 6 months ago.
At the bacheoler party someone asked they guy "Aren't you afraid that the 40yr age difference could present a danger durring sex?" He replied "If she dies, she dies"

...I become "Creepy old man"??

It's so sad. I'll be 30 tomorrow, and I feel that I should be spending this day in bed with three hot 18 year old ladies. A red head, a brunette, and a blond would be nice.

This one girl (18) and her friend (19) came into my shop the other day to hang out and use the internet. After leaving they told my intern (the first girls brother) that I was "Pretty damn cute....for an older guy" :(. They just HAD to add the "older guy part". Of course, in my defense I look 20 when I shave, so they probably think 25 is OLD. I guess 30 is AARP territory.

Instead I'm working today, paying the bills :(. I suppose that's it's own reward. But I realize the time has passed for me to be a "Rock star", an "Astronaut", or anything really really cool.....

Sigh....third decade (over the hill according to my son), here I come.

Anyone have any interesting "turning 30" stories to share?
tomorrow is just the 1st anniversary of your 29th birthday. :D

Thank you dear! I knew there was a reason I love you.
