The service and the equipment are avaiable, but it will take at least 5 years before we get to "see" them in the U.S.

AOD(audio on demand), VOD(video on demand), MPEG4, 200 thousand color display and 144Kbps wireless internet.

A funny thing is that Qualcomm developed CDMA, but they chose Korea to test, debug, and perfect the system instead of the U.S.
A Sad thing is that there hasn't been much progress with the system in the U.S.

NTT DoCoMo's i-mode already has something better than that.

And it will be available in US next year.

Those phones have SprintPCS written all over it!!! Seeing that Samsung is now a major Sprint licensee (they took Nokia's place when they went running to AT&T) AND that same 144kbps CDMA technology is rolling out this fall (go to sprintpcs.com for details) I wouldn't be surprised to see one of those over here.
