This is the best picture I've ever taken.

So I finally took an amazing macro shot. Well, amazing by my standards anyway. I won't pretend to know much about photography, but I think it turned out nicely.

We found the little guy while walking about forrest, fallen from his nest. http://s92104776.onlinehome.us/pics/musala/IMG_0035.jpg

Here are the rest of the shots I took of the birdie

you're no lirion, but that loosk nice. very crisp and sharp. What happened to the birdie? Did you put him back in the nest or what?

Give me several thou in equipment and a few years experience, and I'll be lirion2 😉

I used a Canon A60. Couldn't return the birdie to the nest, because I didn't see it and all the trees were very tall (and unclimbable) anyways. I took it off the road (where it was waiting to be either run over, or eaten) and gave it to the mountain rescue guys, hoping they'd look after it.

Can't keep birds, its illegal (seriously). You're supposed to put them back in their nests and contrary to popular belief birds won't abandon babies - their sense of smell isn't developed enough to detect human scent. If it was attacked by a cat you have to treat it or it will die because cat salive causes infections in birds. If you can't find a nest you're supposed to just leave it because there's a good chance the parent(s) are nearby. If not, well...nature's course is its own.

Cute birdie, nice pics!
