this is taking forever...

i am taking number theory, and using java to help with some calculations =P and excel for others.

needless to say, doing testing from 1 to a million takes a while.

it passed 80k a short time ago... the next predicted "appearance" of a successful test is at 190k.

i may be wrong but shouldn't ther be a more...slick way of doing math than brute force?

Hehehe, yea, there's almost always a slicker way than brute force in math... Especially in number theory. Brute force rarely works. My teach always made it so that brute force wouldn't work/would take forever however, if we managed to see it from a certain angle, it becames fairly easy

I really think you're going about it the wrong way!
