This is strange, I bought a Stick of 256MB DDR RAM, but when I check the part number (Crucial), it shows up as 512MB...

I don't have motherboard yet, so I cannot check it myself...
but when I enter the part number it shows up as 512MB on their site......

So, does this mean it's REALLY a 512MB stick?
Cu'z the sticker ( on the RAM says 256MB(Resller, NCIX), but the part number from Crucial, like I said, indicating that it's a 512MB..... this is confusing...
I guess I will just have to wait until I try it out to find out....

Arn't 512 sticks generally larger than 256 sticks? Maybe you can tell that way, if you happen to have something to compare it to.
