so i go and talk to the mangers at my two local walmarts about camping out for PS3...
one of them said that anyone who camps out will not get one...wtf? how can they do this? how are people suppose to wait in line for it? this guy was completely retarded...
the other walmart said no camping until 6pm on thursday...wtf...well what if i get there thurs. morning and sit there? ...this is really making me angry...if i dont get a PS3 ill go insane..

anywho...i'm gonna hit up target tomarrow...i dont think they will have a problem with people camping outside because we cant really disturb the customers or get in their way...its ****** weather now though...so ill have to get a tent and a nice sleeping bag :/

Camping outside a store would be considered loitering and they could if they could do something if they so wanted.
 
i think stores don't want people camping out because its a liability. The ones that camped out in front of best buy 9 days in advance were kicked out, and others who did the same in the best buy around my area were kicked out.

i understand but think of how much of a madhouse it will be if they just start selling at 12 with no preestablished line...gamers will go crazy...people will be shot...
 
Try camping out at some place that is friendly, like PetCo.
 
talking about BB.. i just saw the local news.. my coworkers got kicked out for camping.. funny they gave 'altered' names for the interview.. hehehee

the only way to have order is to have a camping line, lol, or else its just a mad dash to the door when the clock ticks the right time.

liability is a load of ****. I should be allowed to risk my health on someone elses property and there shouldnt be any of this legal garbage.

i wonder which stores are against this no camping policy. i know best buy has a nationwide policy. it sounds like walmart does too.

but 100s of people are in lines at circuit citys. i wonder about target.

Also, if I ran the wal-mart, I wouldn't want a bunch of weird guys skulking around the electronics department for an entire day scaring away the regular customers....

Actually some targets have a no camping till 4AM day of launch policy now.....

 
Heh, most of the people camping out won't get a PS3. Unless you're the about the 10th, or less, person in line, you ain't getting one. Most likely, a manager or employee from a good store will come out the day prior to launch day and say how many PS3s they have and for everyone more than that to go home.
