After watching this I got sick...

The speedometer is visible just over the center of the steering wheel and a bit to the right. The highest I saw it register was 278 kilometer per hour (@173 mph)
People don’t get out of the fast lanes on the autobahn any better than elsewhere.

This video was not filmed on the autobahn, or even in Germany. admin allisolm

HANG ONTO YOUR SEAT while an Audi races 2 motorcycles on the Autobahn. In Germany, the Autobahn between Stuttgart and Munich is used by the auto industry for their high speed test tracks. The Germans have three types of divided highways, limited access, freeways, and the Autobahn. All have speed limits except the Autobahn. One is not allowed to pass on the right, which both motorcycles and the Audi did in the video. The left lane is for high speed traffic and to overtake another vehicle one flashes their lights and the other vehicle should move to the right. This will give you a Go Fast high for the day.

..The guy in the Audi is nuts and the guys on the bikes make the Audi guy look sane.

I believe we already had a discussion about the colors, fonts, etc.. I'm sure you just forgot and so I fixed it.

I'm surprised no one noticed that it was recorded in Brazil.

The rear view mirror was distracting. He should have taken that off for the video.

Not bad, glad they didn't kill each other and everyone around them when accelerating into the same lane at once.

Cars have a huge mechanical grip advantage over bikes so its easy for the car to get all I am King Kong and shit. Still, it's a lil freaking crazy to be weaving thru traffic at 160mph+...

Not to mention it's a lot easier to be "brave" when you're surrounded with 2 tons of sheet metal vs. nothing but air and what's on your body.

It isn't necessarily true that the Autobahn has no speed limit. Only certain sections are unlimited speed, and those sections seem to get smaller every year. The rest of the time you are driving 80-120 km/h for the most part. I actually got a ticket not far from Stuttgart not that long ago.

But the motorcycle drivers over there are nuts. Those guys go all out most of the time. You really have to make sure the left lane is clear before attempting a pass because the closing speeds are crazy when a motorcycle is coming up on you in an unlimited speed section.

No doubt it's hard as hell to ride a bike that fast thru traffic. Bikes are just no match for cars in turns. The mechanical grip advantage is just to great not to mention the ground effects boost too.

Not true. Bikes only lose in turns to race prepped cars with actual downforce. A modern liter bike, if ridden by someone who knows what they're doing, is much faster than nearly every road car less a P1 or a LaFerrari, etc.

Like I said. Unless you're talking about race cars, it's the complete opposite on the street. Bike can carry more speed than nearly all road going consumer cars because nearly no street cars have aero.

So you're comparing race cars to a race bike.

My comparison was a street bike vs a street car vs a mild race car.

What are we comparing here? Lets establish that first.

Not really caring to get into a debate over which one pwnzrs ya? Read my posts before where you entered. Am I trying to slight bikers?

I've read everything you said. And it makes no sense because it's not true. That's why I'm correcting you yet you keep coming back with evidence that doesn't work for street cars.

Local track, Thunderhill, a Porsche Cup 911 GT3 record is 1.53m, a 600cc record is 1.46m.

Do you even know what mechanical grip is? A car will turn faster thru a corner. That's fundamental. You can see the Audi eating up the bikers in the corners. Add to that the sheer death factor the bikers face leaning over, makes its a lot easier to be behind the wheel of the Audi.

But go ahead, omfg argue like its the end of the world for you.
