Obviously he's not gifted in the same way that writers, engineers, philosophers, scientists, and others who might want a college degree are.
His calling is basketball. He's trying his darndest to make it into college which will help his stock in the NBA draft. Nothing's wrong with that. Whichever school accepts him benefits from all the revenue generated from interest and winning (NCAA basketball is a billion dollar business).
He goes to the NBA if he's good enough and he's set for life. If not, then he may deserve some criticism.
