ok i have a mobo with and i815e chipset

i was wondering if i could use ecc ram on it??

i saw really cheap ecc ram and i only have a couple days b4 the sale is over..

if it helps, my sa6r 815e bios has an option to check for ECC ram, so i'm taking that it will accept it... = )

ECC SDRAM is NOT supported by the i815(E/P) chipset.

ECC RAM may work on the board, but you will not be able to utilise the ECC function. On CUSL2 boards, ECC RAM either tends not to work, or only count half of the RAM on the DIMM.
