ok I try to update my bios I put in my Startup CD since I dont have a floppy
I have an epox 8k7a and Windows XP ok then
I type in c:\UPDATE to update my bios but what do I get a
Bad Command or file name WTF?

does this have something to do with Windows XP?

Please Help!

Yeah you are not in real dos. I noticed this yesterday when I made a boot disk from XP.

Many regular dos comands don't work so i firguired it wasn't real dos...

c drive is normally hard drive.
wouldnt update be on the cd-rom drive (d: or e: depending on if you have one or two, and which one the cd is in)

yeah I tried with a cd-r I managed to get into the flash utility but then it said disk write error

WHY?

Just use Nero and make a bootable image on CD-RW to flash your BIOS. I do it all the time. Just make a directory with the files (a good bootdisk image like the Dr-Dos 7 is best) and your BIOS files and use that to make the bootable image.

do you think you could make me a bootable disk for the latest EPOX 8K7A Bios Update so I could Update it please please please I dont know how to do this stuff!

BTW: the latest one is only like 4 days old
