$1,000? Who the hell do these people think they're kidding?
Funny thing is some guy named itsallfunandgamesuntilsomeonegetstheireyepokedout seems to be buying a lot of them. Something tells me he won't be paying.
Man, why don't people just donate money, instead of spending it on poeple trying to profit from this tragedy. I guess that's capitalism! People can spend as much as they want, but I'd rather see it go to a good cause.
But you have to consider, it is an auction, just because you wont buy it for cost+shipping doesnt mean that others won't. The sellers have no control over it, unless they put a reserve of like, 200 bucks. Then you can flog them

The ones that have already been sold used Buy it Now. So they definitely deserve a flogging.

I agree now may not be the time to sell these, but I have seen Newspapers from December 8, 1941 and some other important events being sold for a decent amount of cash. These will some day be collectors pieces. I wasnt able to get to work in the city today (no train service) otherwise I may have bought a few to keep for myself. Now just isnt the time to be selling these.
Well that is one way to stop it. I have always said that E-bay in concept is great but there are too many sick people out there. Case in point the shiny tea pot that I am sure everyone saw.
