This is not another "XXX Shreds" track

Sounds fine for that style of music; it's about the energy, not creating perfection. What I can't stand is how lip syncing and extreme degrees of auto tune are just the norm now for live shows that most people are used to seeing. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if people understand what they are hearing and don't care, or they are just oblivious to it, and think it's normal when a vocalist sounds like a synthesizer.

sounds good

:whiste:
When I wake up in my makeup
It's too early for that dress
Wilted and faded somewhere in Hollywood
I'm glad I came here with your pound of flesh
No second billing 'cause you're a star now
Oh, Cinderella, they aren't sluts like you
Beautiful garbage, beautiful dresses
Can you stand up or will you just fall down?

I don't know why you think that's any different from this.

The vocal track is nearly identical in both videos. Compression to keep the levels in check, likely some EQ, and subtle use of a room mic to add in the venues natural reverb and sound of the PA. All of this is absolute bare minimum standard for a live mix, I don't hear any auto tune or melodic manipulation at all. The guitar playing isn't the cleanest, so it seems to be used as more of an accent in the final mix.
