HP 7150 printer with 320 digital camera for $199
My first thought when I saw this was "great price, but I'm not much for HP cameras." Then I gave it a second thought, and since I needed a low end digital camera for my brother-in-law, I went ahead and bought it. I am THRILLED with this combo, but not for the camera - for the printer.
The 7150 is about a $150 printer. It's worth every penny of that. Read Tom's Hardware's review on the 7350 (yes, sorry, I do read the UberEgo from time to time) and he makes a great point - this is the same printer as the 7350 and basically the same as the 7550 (in terms of quality, at least). For many of us, the ability to stick the memory card in and print direct is irrelevant - I own a Sony CD250, so I can't stick the mini-CD in, and even if I could, I want a better look at the picture than I can get on the LCD or on some tiny view screen at the top of the printer. So in the end, the 7150 is probably the printer I was going to get anyway.
If you look at it that way, and figure the printer is certainly worth between $125-$150 by itself, this means you're paying between $50-$75 for the HP 320. For a 2 megapixel camera, that's a steal.
So if you want a fine printer that can double as a photo-printer, and a great price on a - well, acceptable - camera, this is something to think about.
