So... I walk out of my house, and there are 3 police cars parked on my front lawn.

Apparently they were arresting some guy ~4-5 houses down. But I can't wait for all the dirty looks I'll be getting from the neighbors...... from the looks of it, I must be a mass murderer or something.
 
that would suck if your neighbor's started spreading rumors that you were a pedophile or something.
 
Ick, that is kinda awkward, unless you somehow use it to your advantage and create some grandiose and daring story about how YOU assisted THEM in something or other 😛

wtf ON your lawn? that is bull I would be compaining. In the street out in front is fine but ON no way!!!
 
DOH - I guess I should have gotten pics from across the street, but too late - they're gone now.

As for parking "ON the lawn" you'd have to see it to understand it, but basically there's the street, 2 feet of sidewalk, and then my front lawn... so to park off of the street, they basically had to be half on my lawn. Not too worried about that, but I'll have to come up with a good story so that the neighbors will never ever bother me again.. hahahaha.

Ah the joys of living in S. Florida. I live in an odd neighborhood, the house 3 down from mine is selling for ~$450,000 but 3 houses the other way are some sleazy rental duplexes/triplexes... I think they arrested the dude out of there.

 
I had something like this happen. Some ridiculous little girl drove her bike across my lawn. I was like hell no, im not standing for this. I took her down hard, face in the dirt. Lets just say she didn't bike across MY yard anymore.

I'v never really thought to care what my neighboor think, but then again, I talk to them on a daily basis, so I would just explain what happened. Are you're neighboors going to give you dirty looks as they drive by or something?!??1 What does their opinion matter?
