This is my first new comp. I'm building. Are all these components compatible?

I have built a bunch of computers from old parts but I've never known if any of it is truly compatible. Since I'm finally investing a large chunk of money into a new comp. with all new components, I'd like to know if any of the hardware will have any conflicts. Here is a list of all the parts I am buying from Newegg.com . If there is any you think I need to add to the list, tell me. I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and all the necessary cables. Descriptions of all the parts can be found on the newegg site. Anyway thanks for your time.

Case - Ahanix Audi XP 8-bay
CD-Rom - Sony black 52x CD-Rom
Floppy - Alps 3.5 inch Floppy disk drive
Hard drive - Maxtor Quiet Drive 40GB 7200 RPM Model# 6L040L2-D740X
Memmory - Crucial Micron 512MB 64x64 PC2100 DDR RAM, 184-Pin
Modem - Aceex V.92 Full Duplex FaxModem PCI Voice, Data, Fax Modem 56000bps
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-7VRXP VIA KT333 5P1A3D RAID LAN
Power Supply - Allied 350W ATX350P4
Processor - AMD Athlon XP 1800+/ 1.53GHz, AX1800BOX

Thanks

Looks like you'll do fine. But you might want a second and third opinion.

no PC2700? yeah...the gains are minimal with the XPs...

no cdrw? no dvd? I'd go for a bigger hd....or two for raid

otherwise it's all compatible just fine.

Looks good to me. As for the P4 1.6 GHz, it will be slower than the Athlon XP unless you overclock it. Now most people have success with this, but overclocking does have a slight risk (despite what many hardcore overclockers like to believe), and you might not be able to overclock the chip very far. (of course, this is coming from an AMD guy, who doesn't want to see yet another person go over to the dark side) ;)

Haven't ever heard of that modem or power supply before- case neither, but that's not really too critical as long as it has good airflow. It does, right? I'd go with Antec on the power supply and US Robotics/3com on the modem.
