I just got a call from a job, but it was on my answering machine about an hour ago. I call back but I can't get through, leave a message. They return the call, saying call now, call back can't get through, it keeps ringing once and going straight to the answering machine.

I've tried solidly for the past half an hour, do you think there could be something wrong with their phone ?

If it is ringing once, then it may be that the line is currently busy. Maybe the person on the other end is on the phone, or is stupid and can't put it back in the cradle correctly. Just *67 then so they don't think you are an idiot, and keep calling every few minutes until you get through.

I hate that kind of stuff tho man... I had something similar happen to me last year... not about a job, but to get a cable modem replaced (can't live without the net) and for the whole 1 minhte I am taking a leak, they call, and I can't get to the phone in time.. and I have to re-shedule for 2 days later.. NO internet... I was sooooooooo pissed!
