personally...i've always been sceptical about liquid (water) cooling...i'll stick to the really nice HSF combos.

You could say the same thing about overclocking as you could water cooling - if you dont know what you are doing, you might end up ruining stuff. And knowing what you are doing includes purchasing respectable parts and not trying to go for a cheap kit that will leak. With that said, I am staying away from water until I am no longer a poor college student and I can afford to replace the parts quickly if anything should happen. Basically, I have horrible luck and if anything can go wrong, it will - so I stay away from the water/electronics combo. It is just too risky that I might lose my porn I mean school work.

I tried water once...spent probably $150 on it and a couple days setting it up, wouldn't stop leaking. So I sold it and made a profit. I wouldn't try it until you are completely ready for all the baggage that comes along with it.

Yep. I'd rather spend good money for a massive fanless heatsink. Silence without the water.

Just curious did that person even do a leak test for you? Even if it leaked it wouldn't be that bad if you used distilled water. You're suppose to power everything off basically when you leak test. Even then you should leak test before even putting the parts into the case.
