The last thread was mostly LOL's for the first while, but people started posting about its cruelty, a point that many of the earlier LOL'ers (including me) found convincing.

That machine would only be ethical in extreme situations (skittish cats that are very dirty and really need to get clean).

The water is not steaming hot. It's just plain warm water and a cat that doesn't like water.

I think this is a funny video. The machine is not cruel, the cat is just really stupid. Put a more intelligent animal in there and it will enjoy being washed.

The other thread said, "Cat lovers please abstain." So that'd mean that everyone posting in there doesn't like cats, whereas this thread's title indicates unpleasant things happening to cats without a disclaimer, so cat sympathizers will jet in, like water jetting onto an unsuspecting cat.

I imagine that even a monkey or chimp would be at least initially distressed at being locked in a small box of unknown purpose, and then blasted with water from the floor.

But cats are completely skittish. That's not a good quality at all for a pet, so it's satisfying for me to see them washed in that pet washer.

Who's getting overemotional? I was making a sarcastic comment. And it's defined as a Spa/Sauna. Generally a Sauna consists of hot water/steam no?
