This is for you IE users....

You know what dude, take the stick out of your ass. We know IE isn't perfect but if we like we're going to keep using it.

It boggles the mind how users can find a known unpatched security hole acceptable, let alone 26 of them, some dating back more than a year!

That's not "isn't perfect," that's absolutely NUTS.

Not a troll, just someone who thinks he's better then everyone else.
I'm just alerting people to the risks of using IE that may not know about its reputation for security. If you find known unpatched security holes acceptable, more power to you.

I know they exist and I'm not ignorant about it. Hence I have BlackICE running at "paranoid" level. I used Opera for quite some time at work (even bought a license) but in the end I still like IE better.

Do you use Linux also ? Let me know what email address I can send the list of security holes that exist for it. There are 3 times the amount for Linux than there are for MS Windows.

Post 'em or use PM plz.

I've been using IE since version 3 and never had a problem with it despite the many bugs that have been found. Realistically, these days software as complicated as ie unavoidably has bugs. They are just made more public because of IE's popularity.

Exactly. I've never had a personal or client's PC exploited because of an IE security hole (Windows yes, IE no). But if Linux + whatever browser works great for your little dormroom PC, that's wonderful Nuclear.
