Guys, it happens pretty often. When i reboot, instead of loading windows, it hangs at my boot up screen (in my case, the dfi lanparty image). Then it doesnt do anything...sometimes it loads, gets passed that point, and then you see a FAINT windows xp and load up bar thats frozen. I dont know why this is happening. Its an annoyance that id rather be without.

Has anyone had this problem, or does anyone know what its related to? Thanks ALOT!
 
Well, since you make it through post and to the Windows loading screen i dont think its a drive issue.
Are you sure the processor heat sink fan is spinning and properly seated? Also are you doing any overclocking?

 
Im doing a bit of overclocking, but it was there before i OC'd. And i just built this computer like 2-3 weeks ago 😀
 
change everything to stock setting, reseat/ re-plug everything, remove unnecessary components

and if none of that works try a reinstall of windows, 90% of the time these issues are solved by a fresh install
