I haven't been shy about voicing my opinion, based on my experiences, that elite members here tend to be puerile, but this is beyond even that norm. What gives?

How exactly? You're quick to flap your gums in defense of shoving christianity down others' throats, but I'd really like to know how people with nothing but a few scraps of dilapidated clothing are wealthy compared to anyone. Keep in mind many of our nation's homeless have to deal with a potentially lethal winter and that many have mental conditions such as downs syndrome and schizophrenia.

I found that humorous as well, but I also find it humorous that Gurck made this thread at all. Especially relating to some of his comments in the linked thread from the OP.

This thread comes to mind in which Gurck continuously attacked me. When I pointed out that he was attccking me in an unprovoked manor he then accused me of putting words in his mouth as justification for attacking me non-stop. Anyone who reads that thread can see that was far from the truth.

Gurck, you've got some nerve coming to FI to complain about someone flinging personal attacks.

EDIT: Im not condoning the attacks on Gurck just b/c he is known for being the one giving them out, but just pointing out its rather hypocritical to come here to complain about them.

I'm not complaining about personal attacks, that'd be futile on a board whose average member is about 20 years old. I'm commenting on how ludicrous it is that acting like a 12 year old counterstrike kiddie and spouting religion is so often rewarded with the elite title here. I'd almost think it was an inside joke if not for a few truly good & helpful posters who hold it, such as John & mechBgon.

CA, you lied about what I said in that thread. We don't have to all agree on things, but if you run out of things to argue about, it's best to let it go rather than lie to justify continued flaming.

Sorry, didn't lie about anything you said. I don't want to argue about that again, but its clear that wasn't the case...its all right there in the thread. Regardless, I don't have a chip on my shoulder about it or else I would have made one of these threads a long time ago. IIRC, I believe our most recent conversations have been very civil(about cameras and sony, etc)...

Im also pretty sure that rahvin got his "elite" status for something other than spouting religious beliefs and the like. I do agree with you though that the title of "elite" isn't so elite anymore.
