Don't you just love IT.... whenever anything goes wrong (or it is just a stupid user error <most of the time it is>), you will get blamed for it. 😉

I worked on the helpdesk of a fortune 250 company. This is your common run of the mill idiocy you see on a daily basis.

I actually found the job about 85% hand holding and ass wiping and 15% real IT work.

The stories I have could probably make me a lot of money if I wrote a book.

Anything with electricty is somehow considered IT. One day I working on a f00king VCR + TV trying to figure out why it wouldnt work. The idiots didnt plug the VCR in. But IMO that is not the job of IT, that is the job of operations.
