The news just had a story about a gas station in a small town near here. They decided to close permanently because the "gas pumps only were able to go to $2.99 per gallon and we don't want to upgrade them".

Where I am, One store just didn't buy any more and another just kept it at 2.99. A third store in town was charging 3.17 for reg unl.

Well, gas stations make next to nothing on gas anyways, it's just there to get you to come inside to buy the 1.25 Pepsi 🙂

So I can see it...they probably just don't have the money.
