This is a REALLY weird PC problem.

When viewing the softrware forum, my PC makes a faint buzzing noise. Not from the speakers, but like the HDD or CPU fan isn't spinning quite right, that type of noise. If I do something to cause some CPU load (like grab the scroll bar and scroll a bunch) the noise goes away until I stop scrolling. It doesn't make the noise viewing OT, but if I go back to Software, the sound comes back.

Really freaking wierd.

particularly the SFF's, yeah. A couple of issues are at play .. underpowered/cheaply designed PSU's, poor grounding, badly designed mobo's. There are even issues with the audio signal ... no one actually used the (expensive) audio chipset that NVidia designated in their reference system, so a lot of the electronic noise is transmitted over the audio channel.

Does the software forum run an ad that isn't in the other forums?

I used to have the same problem with my old CRT monitor, whenever I dragged scrollbars it gave off some kind of feedback through my speakers. So I moved them father away from my monitor, and later replaced it with a LCD.
