this is a programming question, anyone out there got some help?

i have to find a way to be able to refference some graphic files for many pdf's. how would i go about getting the individual pdf's to refference the same copy of these graphics? my problem really stems from the fact that it will be to space consuming to have these graphics in every single pdf i need to make. over 70,000 pdfs.

Put the graphic on a web server and include a link in the PDF? Perhaps with a lo-res version in the doc itself?
