This is a long shot but does anyone else use the app Air Video HD from the Apple App store on their iOS device ?

I am just wondering if you can play x265 content ok with it locally or remotely ? If so how long does it take to first load to start playing? Remember x265 content not x264 content.

I'm running AirVideo HD on my iPad Pro and AppleTV hosted from a Win10 system. I'd have to check if I have any x265 content when I get home. I've noticed on my iPad I will sometimes have to launch a video twice in order to get it to start playing, I wonder if those are x265 files?

Why did you stop using it? Both Plex & Emby have their quirks, but you must choose one. I don't think that there is anything else to pick at this time. Of course if I'm wrong, please share!

It doesn’t look like I have any x265 files currently. As for large files, I’ve never noticed overly long load times. I just had to restart my appletv and launched a 13GB file to stream from my desktop, it loaded in about 3s.
