I had an on-site interview yesterday so this morning I pull out the business card I got from the lady to send her a thank you note. There is no e-mail address on the card. Why would someone even consider printing business cards without including an e-mail address?

I do not put my email address on my business cards, nor my cell phone number. If someone wants to contact me, they will call my office first. If the contact is important enough to me, I will write my email and cell number on the card before I give it to them.

It's much more flexible for me that way, it filters out the lightweights whom I have no time for.

Telecommunications. I am not in sales, so I do not live and die by referals.

Handwritten thank-you note FTW

qft. Unless your handwriting sucks.

Handwritten for a business interview? I was thinking I'd have to do a typed one, and I have no clue how I'd fill up enough of the page for it to not look ridiculously short.
