At least he's not selling the information like other scums. No offense if you're one of those scums. :)

Bandwidth. The ebay effect could be quite horrid, I suppose.

More than that. Retailers and AMEX might start sending "spies" to ATHD and FW. Coupon sharing is not allowed most of the times, PM discussions and abuse. Thankfully FW had the guts to countersue Walmart a while back.

maybe he was previously banned from AT and/or FW, so now this is his way of getting his revange? if that's the case, it's a rather poor attempt.

Some obscure auction on ebay will not signal a huge alarm to retailers all over the country and trigger the downfall of AT and FW. That's my point. Yes, the seller on ebay is stupid. So's the title of this thread.

Yup, the 202 people who have viewed that auction are going to bring AT to its knees! :p

I don't get it, what is this ebay guy trying to accomplish anyway?

Isn't it like $.25 minimum for listing fee(toolazy to look). Heck, if someone wants to advertise that crap good for them. Coupon stuff is pretty limited here, might get more attention to fat wallet and the ethics involved, but, only real recourse is for retailers to stop offering the $$$ off coupons. Eventually it'll get to that. Then hot deals will be mostly misprices with 500 posts about how people are po'd because they got charged regular price or the order was cancelled... oh wait... ;)

Also, if motive was to undercut people trying to buy low and sell camera for more, well, I doubt that it would be very effective at changing things. Deals like that are hard to score and subject to things going wrong. Ebay'ers will buy and spend more there just for the convenience factor.

WTF is the idiot who listed that auction?

At least they provided the information for free rather than "selling information for only $10!!!!"
