I have an E6 venice that is OCed to 2.3 with 1.46v. With my stock cooling I got somewhere around 59-61 with the AS5. I upgraded to a Artic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro about a week ago and replaced the stock pad with AS5. I applied a small BB size dot in the center of the chip and followed the rest of the AS5 instructions.

When I first started the sytem up the temps were around 55-56 while priming and sometimes they would go down to 52-53 for a breif second and then go back up. Now I am priming again and my temps are for some reason at 60-61. I have had several reboots with cooldowns for the AS5 to set in.

I have 2 Thermaltake 120x25 case fans. One being for intake and one for exhaust. All the fans are spinning at max speeds shown by Speedfan. I really dont understand why my temps are so high. Is this normal? Any help would be awesome.

I dont know the cause, maybe due to heatpipes?
I have the same thing happening on my X2, temp jumps around by like 3C.

The 3 degrees I could understand, but this is closer to 8 and it is not even cooling better or as good as the stock did. Well, I guess it was cooling better, but all of a sudden its not. Right now as I type I am idling at 43. I idled around 38 with stock.

Yeah my cables are all nicely tucked into an empty drive bay, so there are none in the way. I even rearranged my hardrives infront of the intake fan to see if it would help airflow.....but it didnt.
