It's crappy and you couldn't use it if you tried. How is this impressive?

What, you don't want to play Castle Frankenstein? :colbert:

Seriously, though, it's impressive that he could do all of that himself. He might be more than a little out there, but at least he's doing something interesting with his time.

True, but how useful is the O/S and how many people are going to actually use it?

How useful is mountain biking or weight lifting? There doesn't have to be any more reason than "Cause I can".

If he wasn't a whack-A-doo, he could be working on something that would be useful for research purposes, if not practical need. GNU Hurd has been in development since 1991 or so, and it's barely usable. It might not ever be a practical kernel, but it still has value as a learning device, and might spawn other interesting concepts, or methods for building a kernel.

God can create an entire universe but when it comes to communicating with humans he talks gibberish. Communication: not God's strong suit. lmao.

To be fair id be pretty pissed too if I spent the past decade writing my own OS/compiler/everything only to have some skunk avatar shitbag slag it off in the youtube comments section :colbert:

Not sure how to respond to that.

The fuck you talkin about no? The friggin deity of deities can't communicate with humans any better than a drunk homeless man with schizophrenia. Well, according to the mental cases that speak for him that is. hehe ;)

If you're willing to show us the kernel you created in your spare time over the past ten years I'm sure we would be happy to compare it to his.
Is he Linus Torvalds? No, but to say it's not impressive seems short sighted.
