Child sex charges detailed

A Tillsonburg-area man charged with trying to have sex with a four-year-old girl promised he could make the experience "fun" and "positive," says a grand jury indictment released in Atlanta, Ga., yesterday. The indictment consists of allegations that have not been proven in court.
The man, who has businesses in and around London, told an undercover FBI agent -- who posed as the girl's mother -- the child would feel "special," "happy" and "proud," the indictment says.
Chilling details of the man's alleged efforts are revealed in the 21-page indictment of William John Krygsman, 33, of Delmer, near Tillsonburg, released by the U.S. Attorney's office.
Some details are so graphic the FBI refused to reveal more on material found in a car that was to be used to entice and sexually abuse the girl.
"It is not something that is fit for decent public consumption," said Special Agent Steve Lazarus.
Krygsman was arrested in Atlanta Saturday and is being held until today's bond hearing.
Krygsman faces three charges: that he used the internet to entice a child into sex, that he travelled into the U.S. for that reason, and that he crossed a state line for that reason.
Krygsman is president of a carpet recycling company in Tillsonburg called Superior Polymer Systems. He also runs the family's tool and die company in London, his father said.
His family, neighbours and friends said they believe he's innocent.
"It's devastating to hear the allegations against him and we support him 100 per cent and trust him with our soul," his father, Bill Krygsman of Norwich, said yesterday. "The things he's accused of are absurd. It's not the case at all."
A woman who identified herself as the accused's ex-wife also defended him before hanging up her phone.
"I believe he's innocent," she said.
Neighbours said they had no idea about the charges.
Krygsman was arrested as part of a FBI operation called Innocent Images Task Force.
In this case, an agent posed online as the 26-year-old mother of a four-year-old girl named Rachel.
The agent signed on to an Internet chat group for people seeking sex with minors.
On April, 20, she began online conversations with a man who used the screen name "special_benefits" and later identified himself as Bill. He also used the name Billy London.
Details of the growing online relationship contained in the FBI agent's statement for the grand jury include:
- The man described himself as "a very tall, fit and attractive single dad, a very loving and gentle father with a little bit of a twisted streak," interested in bondage and domination.
- The man told the agent, "Four is a beautiful age . . . where interests can be introduced in a fun way, a positive way, and where Rachel can feel special about it . . . even if some of the acts are not familiar to her."
The experience would be painful at first, but "just because there are tears I would still make sure that if stopped (and she was asked) . . . she would still say that she wanted to make us happy and proud of her," the man said.
- The man suggested he, the mother and daughter have a bath together, or pretend the air conditioning be broken so the three could be naked around each other.
- The man sent pictures of himself and two minors to the agent.
- The man revealed he would like to start a new "open family" with the agent, Rachel, and his own teenage girlfriend.
- The man provided the agent with a cellphone number and home phone number. The second is Krygsman's phone number in Delmer.
The man drove to Atlanta and arrived the afternoon of May 15. He and the agent met in a restaurant.
