This is the format his email signature is in... it's from craigslist too. So I guess he doesn't care about getting murdered if he sends the email to the wrong person
Kind of excessive, don't you think?

I know this girl who puts her cell number in her signature box. I thought it was strange. Maybe she's lonely.

Not this guy.

"Hey you sideswiped me!"

"I'm so sorry, here's my drivers license, registration, insurance, last tune-up receipt, home address, work address, and this is a picture of my dog. Isn't he cute?"

Oh I know that guy, he's actually a member of AT... I believe he goes by yoyoyohowsdajello. 😛

Was this a reply to something that's for sale? Usually if I'm sure it's not a scam, and the price is a really good price, I will include more than enough contact information, including my website, so that the person receiving my reply can be fairly certain that I'm a real person, not a scammer, and least likely to give them any bother if they sell to me. Although the case of the OP is definitely excessive, if you received 10 replies in the first 30 minutes of listing something on craigslist, are you going to go in order of the replies? Or are you going to select one of the replies that sounds most promising & most convenient for you. i.e. do you respond to the guy only leaving a generic email address, or do you choose the person who you're most certain will be the least hassle to contact?

Man that is excessive. I don't even put that much info in work emails.

Name
Company : Division : Department
Desk : Mobil

That's pretty much my work email signature.

lol. Except he got stalkers instead.

I don't see anything wrong or wierd.
My guess is he simply doesn't want to inconvenience anybody, and he doesn't like when people inconvenience him.

i wouldn't be surprised if the guy's personal information was posted by someone
who's got a beef with him.

I noticed quite a few ads for random "NEW!!!" stuff for really low prices, and the contact info had a phone # and who to ask for and said "call anytime, day or night!".
It just seemed shady, so I called and asked them if they had anything for sale, and they said people kept calling about items for sale at all hours and they didn't know why. I explained it to them, and also told them that it might be impossible to find out who it was, but I'm sure they had a good idea.
People can be assholes.
Duh.
