Dunkin Donuts shrunk the size of their coffee rolls! Those cheap bastards.
Noticed this the last time I got one a few weeks ago and thought ah maybe it was the runt of the batch or something, whatever. Wife stopped off and got us coffee and a coffee roll this morning for breakfast and same damn thing. Shrunken coffee roll. These things used to big old donuts, probably like 6-7 inches across. Now they're about 4 inches across, basically look like the size of a regular doughnut.
I'm kinda pissed about it. The price stayed the same and we're now getting less for our money. Sure I understand the margins on doughnuts are probably slim but for the love of Christ they're charging $1.69 for them. You're telling me the sugar, flour and cinnamon prices have gone up to the point they need to shrink the size by 30%? Two large coffees were $5. Hell they've gotta be making at least 50% profit on that even with all the cream and sugar.
Might have to find a new place for coffee and doughnuts. They're starting to get greedy.
