What if a man falsely accused of rape spends 10 years in jail as a result, then himself becomes a victim of rape in jail due to the stigma associated with the crime?

Not to mention the broken family/friend ties, losing out on time with your children. Or even the financial repercussions.

Do you just dismiss all if this?

They aren't close at all and anyone who suggests otherwise is emotionally stunted.

Someone obviously missed the thread in P&N where there was a story about a woman who decided it was better to be raped than go through the hassle of telling a man no a second time.

How many people do you think would rather go to prison for 5 years for rape than state their innocence twice?
