Nvidia still has no async tbat they've been promising since maxwell. Most games released this year are on dx12 so pascal will have a short life span.
Amd cannot keep their low end cards in stock, there aren't even any rumors about the 490 (which will probably beat the 1070, since the 480 beats the 1060 in dx12). Price gouging on both sides has gotten out of hand, but the gaming community bends over like no other.
I've almost considered going back to consoles..AAA exclusives and no hackers online.
