Also known as a Chinese Apple. Used to eat them as a child. Havent had one in many years and I think I may have to grab one next time Im at the store.

both our neighbors have a tree in their backyards, you can get it at nay grocery store now thoughbecause you had to go to produce stores. now every drink and tea comes in this flavor it is supposed ot have a lot of antioxidants. i grew up eating the stuff my whole life, big middle eastern thing

can't say that I've ever seen it in a mainstream grocery store around here, though they probably have them in ethnic markets.
