This folder i deleted keeps coming back to my desktop...

it always comes back onto my desktop... i empty my trashcan and everything... it keeps coming back... if i delete it now, it'll pop back up on my desktop a few minutes later. if i restart it, it'll certainly be there...

anyone ever have this problem? also the folder attribute is "read only". but i can change it to not read only and delete it.

I think it might be a malicious spyware entity hanging around. Did you run spybot or adaware?

no not yet, but i'll give it a try. this folder is empty btw

i figured out the problem... i originally set my AIM to share this folder. so every time aim is on (and it always is), it creates the folder because it's supposed to be sharing...
