This evening can't get any worse

Sorry man.

My advice? Observe and take mental notes. It will be good subtance for later creativity. The best stand up comics usually make fun of how screwed up their families were.

Family fights at barbecues suck so much. 🙁

Family fights on Christmas (xmas 2007 for me) are worse.

I just love whenever more than just two of your family gets together and thats reason enough to start a fight. (been there done that, it sucks...)

Drunken fights are more funny. My aunt and uncle had a huge fight in their camper while me and my cousin were in. Spaghetti is really hard to clean off camper walls.

I was so fortunate that my family is very mild mannered. We've never had a family fight, everyone has always stayed friendly and nice to each other. I can't recall one family gathering where someone got mad at someone else.

I dunno what to say, except to listen to Mr. Robert Earl Keen.

From 1:25 you can get to the crux of his matter. Listen to the poetry.

Start @ 4:54, @ 5:55 the last verse, which is the prepatory first verse as well, is sung.

You may differ with this Texas boy's visceral interpretation of his life in early '60's Texas.

Based on what he delivered, I don't.
