Thanks. Got 'em both. Right now, I'm trying to do it with Nero solo. It's apparently copying the data to HD, and will put the VOB files, etc. in the same directory structure on the DVD+R. Got a feeling it will work, but I might get a coaster. Seems weird to me that it's taking so long - it's been 15-20 minutes already. Also, my PC's gotten very sluggish. CPU usage is hovering around 10%, but it looks like 90+% of my 512 MB of RAM is being used.
Edit: The burn is done. Let's see if it worked...
Looks like I have a coaster. Damn. It plays but the video is kinda scrambled. Sonsabeetchas. Maybe I shouldn't have burned it at 8x (it's a 4x Taiyo Yuden 01), but I had to see if my burner would burn these at 8x (my first burn with these). When I insert the disk, PowerDVD opens, but the menu doesn't come up like it does with the original disk. The menu structure is the same, and I presume the files are in the same place. The orginal is a DVD-Rom, though. This is a DVD+R. What are the possible issues?
Guess I better rip it first with one of those programs, dvd decrypter or dvdshrink.
