This doesn't look right

So I'm trying to edit a replay from NBA Live 2005 -- capped via, don't laugh, my digital camera pointed at the TV -- and when I finally save my movie, I get something loooking like this when I try to play the saved movie file. I was using the Windows Movie Maker because that's all I have and it seems easy enough to learn. Help??

All the mpegs on my computer have started doing this as well. WMP, and RealOne. QuickTime is fine.
