I have the choice between connecting to my router through a USB cable or using one of those internet/lan cards you stick into the side of your computer

I'm not too sure if this computer has USB 2.0 but will that make a difference in the speed of your interent?

If it doesn't have an effect, will the speed in the USB be fater than the card?
