This card what it seems?

Sorry bout postin' so much lately but I'm really wanting to "spice up" my machine as quick as possible, and with the disappointment that I can't find a BFG 6800 GT O/C I'm eager for another choice.

I've found this one here :

*******************

256MB GALAXY GF 6800GT DDR3 256BIT TV-OUT + DVI (M003767)

Factory default GPU core clock to 370MHz
memory speed from 1000MHz and above
extremely effective cooling result with DHES(Direct Heat Exhaust Sys)

Product Overview
- Factory default GPU core clock to 370MHz, which is 20MHz higher than normal 350MHz
default clock.
- use 2.0 ns Hynix DDR which allows more than enough head-room for overclocking of
memory speed from 1000MHz and above.
- GLACIER cooling system, this smartly designed fan cooling is the great work from Arctic-Cooling
and GALAXY to adopt on NVIDIA GeForce 6800 solution, guaranteed superior
overclock ability on card, cool and quiet. ( Please check the following pages for detail )
- design in glacier cool appearance by integrating the same icy blue color tone on PCB, fan and
components.

Now can someone tell me if that's the full blown GT ? I read round here somewhere that there are some GT's that are cut down versions which I don't want.
If this is the full blown GT (and seems O/C'd to same as the BFG) I'm going to click the the "Buy" button.

Thanks for your advice on the matter, I realise I may seem stupid but it's alota cash for me as to not want to ah heck this up.

Cheers

I havent heard of any Cut-down GT. I've heard of cut down PRO 9800s that had 128 bit memory bus instead of 256.

This seem like a pretty solid card. I would go with it. Only this you'd want to check up is their warranty.

It looks like the real thing. One question for you though, why don't you go with a bigger brand name like Albatron,

eVga,

XFX,

Gainward,

Chaintech,

Leadtek or

PNY?

I have never heard of the brand "Galaxy" before, and if you can buy a card with a better brand name, that would be the best. Like you said, it's a lot of money to be throwing around, gotta try and get the best you can with it.

Galaxy is Europe only i believe, (as in not available in the US), and from what ive heard around here, they are a reputable company.

The Galaxy GT seems like a pretty cool option actually. The cooler on it is identical to the NV Silencer 5, which sells for up to $50 at some places. This cooler has been shown to be considerably better then than stock GT cooler.

The card arrived, but funny thing about the box.
On the box Design it says "Galaxy GeForce 6800", you know, actually on the box design along with nVidia logo saying "NVidia GeForce 6800 Family".

BUT

The "GT" is stuck on the box with a semi-transparent sticker, which seems odd. The actual card doesn't mention GeForce at all because it has that massive cooler called "Glacier Arctic Cooler".

I haven't installed the card yet because I'm not putting it in my current system, I'm waiting for other parts to make a new system,

so when I put it in my new machine, I should be able to confirm it's a GT by the fact the core clock should be at 370 outa the box, yes? Where can I check the core clock?, just in the Driver Control Panel?

I presume
a)I've been ripped off - less likely frm a reputable resaler, which it was
b)Galaxy has saved money on packaging to afford the deal with ArcticCooling
