This blows - can't sleep

I wonder how long the effects last. I've never been affected this badly before... (and no, it wasn't canned, it was made with real tea).

What the hell...
Yeah.

Staying awake in bed for over 3 hours is unbelievably boring.

EDIT: Do you use ellipses to mock me? Maybe I'm imagining it, but I'm seeing a connection.

There's no way caffeine from iced tea could have this effect on a person 7 hours after the fact. Maybe if you've never ever had caffeine before in your life. This insomnia is probably due to some unrelated depression... my medical opinion.

I didn't really think it was the cause, but it was the ONLY thing I could think of. I've eaten a lot of stuff before I went to bed and this has never happened. I'm pretty sure I'm not depressed about anything.

I suppose I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about too many things, but again, this has never happened before.

Hmmm, i don't know, but yeah, i have horrible sleeping habits.

Fell asleep somewhere about 11:30, woke back up about 3:30-4 and noticed I had conked out with my contacts in so now my eyes are bloodshot like I've been up all night drinking or something.

Still tired, but can't sleep for some reason.

Caffeine affects me for almost that long. But I also rarely ever have caffeine, maybe only a few times per year. I don't drink soda and I don't eat chocolate.

There is no way the drink caused you to stay up. It's likely psychological.

It is possible. Happens to me. I'm a light sleeper as it is, often waking up several times a night. Any stimulant will prevent me from getting good sleep.

Yeah it's hard to believe that the tea caused it, however it IS possible. 😉
