This amazes me

The city will go through hours and hours of work to save a kitten in a hole but when the paramedics arrive to your house and qoute your 800 dollars to take you to the hospital. My friend broke his popped his knee out playing basketball and when the paramedics came they said it would cost 800 so my friend said he won't pay that much so they left him there screaming. We had no ride so he just lied there in pain till his uncle came over and popped it back in. I think he was charged for them just to come. Shows how much we value life. :|

I don't think they can turn away when a patient needs medical attention. In fact, I know it.
