i threw mine in a k7s5a, works pretty good @ 143mhz fsb (1500mhz), let it loop 3dmark2001 for a while, restarted to see if itll do 150mhz, didnt boot :(

so then reset it and check the temps... [95 celsius degrees!!!] :Q :Q :Q

turns out there was a wire stuck in the fan to prevent it from spinning...

im glad i didn't pull a "tom's hw" video :)

mine ran at about 70-90C regularly for a few months iwth the stock heatsink
then i decided i should dish out some cash for a better heatsink ;

they were rated to about 85c....but mine still works :)

yea, a buddy of mine has a 1.4 t-bird that's been through two fried motherboards and a fried stick of ram. Don't ask me how it happens to him but of all the stuff he's gone through that 1.4 is still kickin.
