Anyone else live in the NorthEast? It's been pretty unbelievable. I thinks its rained every day for three weeks. And the forecast includes rain for the next ten days.
It's been so humid my furniture seems damp all the time when I sit on it.

I saw a guy with a long white beard and cane hearding animals two by two into a long barn shaped boat in the middle of a field. Sign perhaps to start stocking up on bulk beef?

Hong Kong is really really humid, even in the winter. I broke down and bought a dehumidifier for my apartment. The one I have uses desiccant which means no compressor noise but it uses a lot more electricity since it uses a heater. So I do not keep it running but I run it maybe at least 4 hours a day and I still get the chemical dehumidifiers in my clothes drawers drawing out water. I have been told that you need dehumidifiers here if you want to keep your clothes for long and places that have wallpaper need them to keep mold from growing on the paper.

Personally, if you are going to have long periods of humidity you may want to find a way to dehumidify since it can be damaging to fabrics and paper.

I live in the desert for a reason. I lived in KY for a few years. One winter we went 58 days straight w/o sunshine, not a single break in the gray, depressing clouds; just cold, dank, damp misery. Now more than a day or two w/o sun and I get depressed. Monsoon season is here so we're getting a bit of rain but it is still sunny every day.
