third row seats

I've begun the hunt for my next vehicle and am thinking of downsizing from the Yukon XL to a smaller possibly 6cyl vehicle but the third rows on these things are too small. They all claim to have decent leg room but I can hardly climb in let alone sit there. And with them up there is no trunk space. Even my 11 year old daughter couldn't sit comfortably. All these makers want to throw in the third row but if the chassis isn't big enough then they shouldn't even bother. The GMC Acadia wasn't too small but I'm not buying another GM. The Audi was a joke. So far it looks like either the Toyota Sequoia or the Honda pilot. The pilots a little smaller but still seems ok. We fill the second row and use the third about 4x a week. What I really need is a minivan with AWD and the clearance of the Yukon. Now that would be redneck chic.

you've just discovered that crossovers are actually less useful than the minivans/station wagons they're replacing. congratulations.

my grandfather used to drive his awd chrysler t&c out to the deer lease.
