Had a client and added another 512mb of memory, but now the fingerprint reader does not authenticate. Anyone know what is going on?

Well likely the two are unrelated. Remove the memory just for fun and try again.

Is the client using the proper finger when trying to authenticate? Have him remove all fingerprints from the software and re-enroll them. If that doesn't work, uninstall that software and DL the latest version; having ThinkVantage Software Updater makes that incredibly easy.
