Thinkpad T61 and SDHC cards?

I have a T61 with the Ricoh 4 in 1 reader, and I noticed that a Kingston 4GB SDHC class 6 card is recognized when I boot up or the first time I put it in after a boot up. However, once I remove it, and put it back in I hear the insert sound, and in "Safely Remove Hardware" I see it pop up but then disappear and in Device Manager under SD Card, there is an exclamation mark. The card is not recognized. What is wrong here? I am using Vista Home Premium (original).
 
You could try reinstalling the memory card reader from lenovo's site. Other than that call lenovo. It's igther windows or the driver.
