Thinkpad T20 will not load windows

I have an IBM thinkpad that will not load windows. It gets to where it shows 34 minutes left and then locks up. Its an 800 MHZ machine with 2 128 mg of RAM. I tried taking one out at a time to see if this was causing the hang up but it did the same thing. I've tried formating the HDD and still no luck. All help would be appreciated.

Take a look at the following page from Microsoft. Of course, much of the "solutions" offered won't apply to your laptop (unless you have external devices hooked up), but check the bios settings per MS's instructions:
